Data Analysis Integrity and External Reporting Requirements

JCS will develop a data conversion process that will allow you to keep, convert and/or archive data from your legacy system to your new data system to ensure you have access to the data you need. We are able to resolve inconsistent stored data and translate data from old values to match new system requirements. We help your team make sure you have accurate, complete and unduplicated data sets for your conversion. After import we will test the data and submission processes through reporting and transaction analysis to ensure the data and system are performing as expected.

Staff resources

We provide staff to fill in for vacant IS/IT positions. We can assist with your IS/IT hiring process by drafting job descriptions, creating and posting online advertisements, reviewing resumes, creating applicant questions and tests, screening applicants, and participating in interviews. Our services help you select the best possible applicant.

Business continuity and disaster recovery planning

We have developed Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans for behavioral health and government agencies. Our work includes writing plans, testing plans and documention required to keep auditors and stakeholders happy.

Database management and SQL programming

JCS staff are experts at database management systems (DBMS) and SQL programming; whether you need help for a one-time project, or ongoing support – we can support your databases. We can recommend automated processes to free up your team for other projects. Our team can create or manage your data warehouse to integrate multiple data sources and provide concise and meaningful reports.

HIPAA Transactions: Outbound or Inbound

We understand HIPAA national standard transactions and can help you set them up or fine-tune them for different payers or trading partners. Our team has extensive experience with 837 Claims - both 837P Professional and 837I Institutional, 270/271 Eligibility Inquiry/Response, 278 Authorization, 834 Enrollment, 835 Payment, 820 Payment Order/Remittance Advice, etc. We can help you configure your own EHR software or HIPAA translators. We developed a process using MS Word and Excel to generate HIPAA 837 Claims and 270/271 Eligibility Inquiry/Response so that your staff can use tools they are familiar and comfortable with. We can train your staff to read and understand the HIPAA standard transactions to evaluate your files for correct set-up.
